I am a piano teacher in Tracy, California, with students of all ages and abilities from 5 through adult.  My beginners usually start around the age of 7 or 8, but may start earlier with much parental involvement.  I also work with intermediate and advanced students, as well as those who may be in college or preparing for college music study.

During private lessons we study repertoire, technique, music theory, music history, listening skills, and memorizing and performance strategies.  Instruction is tailored to each student's individual learning pace and goals.  We have several recitals, formal and informal, throughout the year. In addition, most students prepare annually for MTAC's Certificate of Merit, the National Guild Audition, or the Carnegie Hall Royal Conservatory Achievement Program.
